Trump's Granddaughter Seeks Professional Advice from Tiger Woods Prior to Professional Golf Debut

Emerging athlete preparing for major tournament

The rising star maintains considerable online following

The young golfer will have multiple well-known backers as she makes her LPGA debut on Thursday.

The 18-year-old athlete, who happens to be the granddaughter of a former US president, obtained a sponsor's invitation to compete at the Annika tournament in Florida.

The former president, a passionate golfer, owns several international courses and regularly matches against his granddaughter.

"He's fairly competent. I shouldn't elaborate but we have some close matches," she stated.

She mentioned that Trump, who cannot attend, advised her: "Just avoid anxiety."

"He practically told me to play and enjoy myself," she continued.

"To me, he's simply a regular grandfather. He's not attending for the tournament. He's focused on world affairs, so he's quite busy."

Being non-professional, the golfer has participated in only three events recently and holds the 461st position in AJGA rankings.

However she can seek guidance from 15-time major champion, in a relationship with Kai's mother.

"He represents the top athlete in the world," Kai expressed.

"And he's a more impressive human being. He advised me to go out there, enjoy myself, following whatever happens."

The golfer will compete against some of the biggest names in professional golf at the Annika, such as world number two Nelly Korda, British golfer Hull, professional Thompson and 2023 champion champion Vu.

Officials mentioned that Kai's presence brings golf to wider groups, specifically reaching youth audiences.

The social media influencer maintains substantial online presence and recently launched her own fashion and living brand.

Her first tee time at 5:30 PM GMT.
