The Initial Xbox Game Pass Titles of 2026 Show Xbox Isn't Giving Up Yet.

In numerous discussions, enthusiasts continue to ring the knell for the green team. Microsoft's console just got outsold by a lesser-known competitor. Platform-specific outlets have started writing regarding Sony's platform unprecedentedly. The past year represented a period of total upheaval for Xbox and Microsoft. However, judging purely by what's coming to Game Pass in 2026, it becomes clear that Microsoft continues to plan to attract subscribers with quality releases on its flagship service.

The Current Inclusions

A pair of titles that are immediately available as you read this, Brews & Bastards and Little Nightmares Enhanced Edition, don't represent the biggest draws. The true anticipation is for the upcoming titles to Game Pass in the coming weeks that's worth getting excited about.

Significant Forthcoming Releases

On Jan. 13, Game Pass will add the underrated Star Wars Outlaws, a vast exploration title that deviates from typical Ubisoft design with a space-faring criminal escapade. Another big get is Resident Evil Village and its giant Lady Dimitrescu, previously described as "a superb mixture of horror and action."

Intriguing Niche Additions

Yet, the less-hyped additions set to join the catalog are noteworthy here. Lost In Random: The Eternal Die, a fantastic but under-the-radar dungeon crawler that's a blast to play, arrives January 7th — and it's worth experiencing whether or not you experienced the first Lost in Random game.

The British post-apocalyptic game from last year could captivate you remarkably quickly.

Atomfall, the stealth survival game by the developers behind Sniper Elite, is another one to watch. Game Pass Ultimate subscribers also have Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine – Master Crafted Edition to anticipate.

A Solid, Curated Lineup

All in all, these titles aren't industry-shaking releases to Game Pass, nor are they first-party juggernauts that validate the subscription in the first place. But Microsoft's additions here are very dependable. There's a good mixture of past releases that passed you by and new-ish games that failed to receive the spotlight they were due initially — transforming them into ideal prospects to find a new audience on Game Pass.

Be prepared to bid farewell to The Grinch Christmas Adventures, as it happens.
