Barça Set to Play Historic Fixture at Renovated Camp Nou over the weekend
The club confirmed they are set to host at the renovated but unfinished Camp Nou on Saturday. They will welcome the Bilbao team in the Spanish league two and a half years following their departure to allow renovations to start.
“We envisioned this comeback. The moment has arrived. Home again at Spotify Camp Nou.”
Not all seats will be available but 45,401 spectators are permitted inside as per the current authorization. After final construction, it will accommodate almost 105,000 spectators, a rise from the old capacity. Officials confirmed completed upgrades featured a renovated tunnel for players plus modern locker rooms.
Recent Activities
Barça organized an open training session on the home pitch earlier this month. The club said they were hoping for permission by UEFA to host the next European match facing Eintracht on 9 December at Camp Nou. They have been hosting matches in the temporary ground.
