Approximately 90 Air Travels Linked to Epstein Allegedly Came to or from UK Airfields

A review has uncovered that nearly 90 flights associated to the late financier Jeffrey Epstein allegedly touched down at and left British airfields, with some reportedly carrying women from the UK who allege they were abused by the convicted child sex offender.

Flight Logs Reveal Pattern of Travel

The travel manifests were part of thousands of legal papers and papers made public by Epstein’s estate that have been released over the last year. The review uncovered 87 aircraft movements linked to Epstein – featuring many that were hitherto undisclosed – arriving or departing from UK airports between the start of the 1990s and 2018.

Passenger Details and Post-Conviction Travel

Unidentified women were recorded among the individuals flying to and from the UK. Notably, 15 of these flights involving the UK occurred following Epstein’s 2008 conviction for procuring prostitution from a child.

“It was ‘shocking’ that there had never been a ‘full-scale UK investigation’ into his dealings in the country,” remarked US lawyers acting for numerous Epstein survivors.

British Victims and Legal Proceedings

Evidence from one of the British victims aided the conviction of Epstein’s associate Ghislaine Maxwell of sex trafficking of minors in the US in 2021. But, that victim has not been approached by police in the UK, as stated by her attorney based in Florida.

In a statement, the Metropolitan police said they had “not received any further information that would support reopening the inquiry.” They noted, “If new and relevant information be presented to us, including any arising from the release of material in the US, we will evaluate it.”

Continuing Disclosure and Legal Rulings

A bill to disclose every document held by the US government in regarding Epstein passed the House and Senate last month. The US justice department has until 19 December to follow through. A vast number of papers are anticipated to be made public.

In a related development, a US judge ruled last week that the DOJ could publicly release case files from a sex-trafficking case against Maxwell, Epstein’s close friend, who is serving a 20-year jail term over the allegations.
