An American-Palestinian youth who spent nine months in Israeli detention without being charged gained freedom.

Mohammed Ibrahim was fifteen years old when he was arrested in February within the occupied West Bank, where he was visiting on holiday from Florida accused of stone-throwing at Jewish settlers, claims he consistently denied.

United States authorities expressed satisfaction with the teenager's freedom.

Now sixteen years old, required hospitalization for treatment immediately after release, family members reported.

According to them, he appears visibly pale and thin, and is suffering from conditions contracted in captivity.

Through an official statement, Mohammed's uncle spoke of the family's "tremendous relief".

The uncle, Zeyad Kadur described how relatives endured "surviving a terrible, unending nightmare" throughout the past nine months.

"Currently, our priority is providing Mohammed with the immediate medical attention he needs after experiencing Israel's abuse and brutal treatment for months."

American authorities said it would continue to provide consular support for the Ibrahim family.

{"US government authorities considers paramount to the protection and welfare of American nationals"," officials stated.

Several congressional representatives endorsed a document to diplomatic officials and the White House, demanding more be done to secure his release.

Mohammed's parent, parent of four children operating an ice cream shop based in Tampa, had earlier stated his son only confessed about rock throwing after being assaulted by soldiers.

He had not seen or communicated with his son following the detention, and only heard about his son's condition via legal paperwork.

The teenager remained lacking indictment in Ofer prison throughout the occupied territory.

It is also home to mature inmates, including individuals found guilty regarding severe security violations including killings.

There are around 350 Palestinian minors in security custody currently imprisoned in Israel, according to the Israeli Prison Service.

Several lack formal charges while advocacy organizations, and international organizations, say some have suffered abuse and torture.

Following Mohammed's release, the uncle stated relatives would persist in advocating seeking justice for their relative Sayfollah Musallet.

The dual national youth per medical officials died from beating by radical settlers during a confrontation during summer.

Initially, military authorities reported they were examining accounts of a Palestinian had died.

Both young men collaborated at their family's ice cream business based in Florida.

No charges have been filed with Sayfollah's killing.

"We expect United States leadership to protect our families," the uncle stated.
